What does DTF stand for?

DTF is short for Direct To Film.  This is how iron on transfers are created. The film holds the ink in place after printing. Then there is a process of adding adhesive powdered that will lock in the ink on the film once it is then heated. The adhensive is what allows for the inck to be iron on to material.

Can you iron on this at home?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You are able to iron these designs on using a household iron. They do not have to be done by a heat press, but the heat press makes it easier.

Do you have to have a certain machine to do this?

Yes. You will need a DTF machine as it takes a certain type of ink that wil adher to the material.
